Tacta sampling promotion 2025 - Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions of entry carefully. By submitting an entry to this promotion, you are deemed to have read and accepted them. If you do not agree, please do not enter.
1. PROMOTER: CD CIPHER LTD., a company registered in the United Kingdom with company number 16477576, and having its registered office at One Fleet Place, London, EC4M 7WS (the “Promoter”, “we”, “us”, “our”). The Promoter shall, at its discretion, administer the promotion and determine eligibility and compliance with these terms.
2. PROMOTIONAL PERIOD: promotion opens at 00:01 on 12 November 2025 and closes at 23:59 on 11 December 2025 (inclusive) (the “Promotional Period”). Entries received outside this period will automatically be invalid. The Promoter’s record of receipt will be final.
3. ELIGIBILITY:
a. The promotion is open to legal residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over only, excluding (i) our employees, (ii) our agents and (iii) anyone professionally connected with the promotion, and (iv) the immediate family members of (i), (ii) and (iii).
b. Device with QR scanning capabilities and internet access required. A valid email address is also required to enter. Normal exclusions apply. Entry to the prize draw is free. No purchase is necessary. Any entries received before or after the Promotional Period will not be valid and will not be entered into this promotion.
c. Maximum one entry per email address is permitted during the Promotional Period. Multiple entries by the same individual using different details, or automated methods, may be disqualified.
d. We will have no responsibility for, and will not accept, any entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, illegible, damaged or corrupted (including as a result of postal delays, technical issues with your mobile, tablet, computer or connectivity, or technical issues with our website). The Promoter accepts no liability for any such entries and proof of submission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
4. TO ENTER:
During the Promotional Period, we’ll be carrying out sampling in at selected VUE cinemas between the dates of 12th November 2025 and 30th November 2025 inclusive.
To enter during the Promotional Period you must:
a. Scan the QR code on the promotional materials provided with the samples;
b. Access the entry form by using your mobile phone or compatible device to scan the promotional QR code on the promotional material;
c. Complete the short survey about the TACTA product you sampled;
d. Complete the form with the required details (including your full name and email address); and
e. Submit the completed form.
5. Any entries received before or after the Promotional Period will not be valid and will not be entered into this promotion. Maximum 1 entry per email address during the Promotional Period.
6. PRIZE: there are 10 prizes in total to be won. 10 winners will be selected to each win 1 x £100 VUE cinema e-vouchers. VUE e-vouchers are subject to the voucher terms and conditions which can be found on the VUE website https://giftcards.myvue.com/collections/frontpage/products/100-gift-voucher.
7. We reserve the right to substitute any prize (or an individual aspect of a prize) for an alternative of equal or greater value where we deem it strictly necessary due to events outside our reasonable control. Winners may not transfer the right to accept their prize to another person without our consent. We will not offer cash alternatives to any prizes. Prizes are not negotiable. If the prize is a voucher, then use will be subject to voucher’s terms and conditions. In the event of any dispute regarding prize substitution, the Promoter’s decision shall be final.
8. WINNER SELECTION, NOTIFICATION AND DELIVERY
a. Following the end of the Promotional Period, ten winners will be drawn at random from all valid entries received throughout the Promotional Period.
b. Winners will be notified by email to the email address provided on the entry form within 5 business days of the closing date.
c. Winners must respond to the notification email within 14 days of the notification email confirming their acceptance of the prize and confirming their full name and email address. If they don’t, they will forfeit their prize and we may re-draw an alternative winner.
d. Once eligibility of the winner is confirmed and is accepted, the Prize will be sent via email to the email address notified to us in accordance with condition 8c above. We will arrange for delivery of the prize within 30 days of the winner responding to our notification email in accordance with condition 8c above.
e. The Promoter will not be responsible for incorrect email addresses supplied by entrants or for any technical issues in prize delivery.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
9. Data controller: CD CIPHER LTD. Your contact information will only be used and shared for the purpose of administering this promotion unless we have your consent and you have opted-in to receive future marketing communications. We may share your personal data with third parties for the purposes of fulfilling any prizes won through this promotion (including our agency, The Sampling Project Ltd). For our Privacy Policy, see: https://tactastrips.co.uk/privacy-policy. The Privacy Policy applies, unless these promotion terms provide otherwise.
10. The winner’s surname and county will be obtainable only by sending a stamped addressed envelope request to: TACTA PROMOTION, The Sampling Project, Mindspace, 9 Appold Street, London, EC2A 2AP, within 3 months of the closing date. The winner may request that their surname and county are not published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced by contacting the Promoter at the address above. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request.
11. You must submit your own entry. Entrants who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion. Bulk, trade, group or third party entries will not be accepted. Entries submitted using automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that enable a person to enter repeatedly will not be accepted. The entry must be made directly by the person entering the promotion. Only genuine valid entries will be considered. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this or any other condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified, and any prize award will be void. The Promoter reserves the right to monitor entry activity and take any steps necessary to protect the integrity of the promotion.
12. We may carry out verification checks to confirm your eligibility to enter (including requesting proof of ID (e.g. a current passport or driver’s licence) or proof of address (e.g. a recent utility bill)).
13. Winner is responsible for any tax liability they incur as a result of accepting a prize. Winner is encouraged to seek independent financial advice before accepting a prize if the tax implications concern them.
14. In the event of suspicious activity, the Promoter reserves the right to request and gather information or obtain further evidence to confirm the legitimacy of the entry/win. We reserve the right to disqualify you if you fail our verification checks or we reasonably believe that you have: (i) breached any of the promotion terms; (ii) cheated or jeopardised the operation or integrity of the promotion; or (iii) gained an unfair advantage or won using fraudulent, dishonest, or unfair methods. The Promoter’s determination under this clause shall be final.
15. We reserve the right to suspend, vary or cancel a promotion where we deem it strictly necessary due to events outside our reasonable control (including where technical issues are affecting the proper running of the promotion or where we suspect fraud). In these circumstances, we will do all we can to minimise any disappointment. No compensation will be payable as a result of such suspension, variation, or cancellation.
16. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable to you for any loss, injury or damage which: (i) you suffer by entering a promotion; or (ii) you suffer in the enjoyment of any prize. However, nothing will exclude or limit our liability in respect of personal injury or death caused by our negligence or for any fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation committed by us. In no event shall the Promoter be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from participation in this promotion.
17. Sometimes, through reasons outside of the Promoter’s control, the website / microsite (as with any website / microsite) may not be accessible. The Promoter cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the website / microsite. No responsibility will be accepted for any difficulties in entering, claiming or any entries/claims delayed or corrupted. The Promoter will have no liability for any loss arising out of such an event.
18. The Promoter may request that the winner participates in publicity arising from the promotion, including taking part in promotional videos and/or photoshoots to be shared via the Promoter’s social media channels. Participation in any such publicity is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of enjoying the prize or entering.
19. At the point you enter this promotion, we may give you the option to consent to us using the email address you submit for marketing and promotional purposes. If you give us your consent, we may send you marketing and promotional emails about TACTA products from time to time. If you wish to subsequently withdraw your consent, you can do that by emailing us at info@tactastrips.co.uk, or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any of the marketing or promotional emails we send you. Consent is entirely optional and will not affect your eligibility to enter the promotion.
20. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with any other parties, including but not limited to any supermarkets, retail stores etc. By entering, entrants agree to release any and all of the non-affiliated parties from any and all liability in connection with the promotion.
21. Our decision in relation to all matters relating to our promotions will be final.
22. Each of the promotion terms is separate from the others. This means that if any promotion term is held to be invalid then it will be deleted but the remaining promotion terms will continue to apply. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any term shall not constitute a waiver of that term.
23. If there is a discrepancy between these promotion terms and those in any promotional material, these promotion terms will prevail.
24. These promotion terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes arising out of or in connection with this promotion.
